Market Access- entry and penetration:
How can farmers and buyers have an easier, real-time, and more effective way to
interconnect, share information, sell and buy agricultural products? How can
logistics/distribution be better streamlined? How can timely access to accurate and
current market trends be favored? What if he wants to directly sell his produce
instead following the traditional channels?
Facilitation and Accessibility to the farmers which will aid them in best decision making, in terms of— Crop Selection, Fertilization, Harvesting, Weather, Soil Management, Pest Management and financial service analysis.
Building a community for farmers where they can share
their problems, issues, challenges and exchange information.
Water Management: Depleting water resources has become a major challenge for agriculture. How can ICT help growers to understand the water requirements of crops, availability of water during the cropping season, prediction modelling of underground water etc?
