ICT for Goal 9: Infrastructure, Industrialization, Innovation

By end 2016, 47% of the world's population is using the Internet. In the world's least-developed countries, more than 80% of the population still has no access to the Internet.​

Without the digital infrastructure that powers our wireless world and forms the backbone of our digital economy, the world would not be able to deliver the ICT applications that enable scalable solutions to the SDGs.
